Who we are

Viere Coaching is a personal development and life coaching practice based in Canada. This website is vierecoaching.com. If anything in this policy is unclear, or you want to know what information we hold about you, write to hello@vierecoaching.com and a real person will answer.

What we collect, and when

You only ever give us information by choosing to. Specifically:

• The booking and contact forms collect your name, email, phone number, pronouns if you share them, what kind of support you are looking for, how you heard about us, and anything you write in your message.
• The free resources form collects your name and email so we can send you the resource you asked for.
• The newsletter form collects your email address.
• The review form collects your name, your review, and optionally your email and the context of our work together. Nothing you submit is published until it has been personally reviewed and approved.
• When you book a call, our scheduling provider collects the details needed to confirm the time and send you reminders.
• Like most websites, we use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. See Analytics below.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to you, deliver what you asked for (a call, a resource, the newsletter), remind you about sessions you booked, and understand how the website is doing. We never sell your information, and we never add you to marketing email without your express consent.

Email and your consent

You only receive our newsletter if you ticked the box asking for it. Every marketing email we send includes a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect right away. Emails that deliver something you requested, like a resource download or a booking confirmation, are sent on the basis of that request.

The services that help us run

A small number of trusted providers process information on our behalf: website hosting (Vercel), content management (Sanity), email delivery (Resend), scheduling (Cal.com), analytics and advertising measurement (Google Analytics and Meta, loaded through Google Tag Manager), and internal notifications (Slack). As our practice tools come online, client records will be managed in HubSpot and payments processed by Stripe. Some of these providers store data in the United States; we only share what each one needs to do its job.

What we deliberately keep out of these systems

The content of coaching conversations is confidential. What is said in a session is not stored in this website's systems, our client records tool, or our analytics.

How long we keep things

We keep enquiry and client records for as long as they are useful for working together, and financial records for as long as Canadian tax law requires. If you would like your information removed sooner, just ask.

Your choices

You can ask at any time to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Email hello@vierecoaching.com and we will sort it out.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and the Meta pixel to measure how people find and use the site. These tools use cookies and collect information like pages visited and general location. They do not receive your name, your messages, or anything you type into a form.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Meaningful changes will be noted plainly rather than buried.
